It's already the end of December 2011, time really has gone by fast. This has been a very interesting year if I do say so myself. How nostalgic!

You know...

I'm actually enjoying this time away from people and the world, it's very serene. It's like the calm before the storm, the storm being where I'm heading down the road in life. It's quite nice really.

Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2010 Ready-To-Wear.

One of my favorite looks from Balenciaga on Kasia Struss during Spring 2010 Fashion Week. I just love this look, and the style is perfection as Polly Mellen would have said. Nicolas is a pure genius, I know I've said this before but I cannot wait for this coming Fall for Balenciaga. I want to know already what the "fashion scientist" that is Nicolas Ghesquiere will do. A collection with innovation that is sure to be great.

Couture collections that is, and I'm so glad. There's nothing like the Couture shows, from the people, the garments, the interviews, to the privacy of the shows. I've only gotten a chance to see Dior and all I have to say is, Welcome back Galliano, you have been missed. I also saw Givenchy and Givenchy was divine. Riccardo never disappoints, I love how he sacrifices quantity for quality, well in this case for details DETAILS and D E T A I L S. "It was genius!" As Andre Leon Talley would have probably said. Can't wait to see what the other designers have put out for this season, I will posts photos in a while.

I love the pairing of Gisele for Balenciaga, such an interesting choice. This ad campaign has to be one of the best I've seen in a while, and the collection it's for is just AMAZING. Nicolas never disappoints. Can't wait for Fall, his Pre-Fall collection was very very nice btw so we can all expect Fall to be even better. Since it's Nicolas, I'm sure we're getting something that we aren't expecting and out of our minds, can't wait!
